The design criteria was to create the ultimate turret press. Redding's engineering team started with their time proven cast iron construction and turret support that is second to none.
They added powerful compound linkage with over 3.8″ of ram travel. A 1″ diameter hollow ram was chosen with the "Smart Primer Arm" and "Spent Primer Collection System" borrowed from the Ultramag press. Another station was added to the turret for even greater versatility and an optional "Slide Bar Automatic Primer Feeding System" (shown in photo) was designed. After adding a few more subtle refinements and built with the precision you would expect from Redding, we're confident this is the best turret press ever.
• Heavy Duty Cast Iron Frame for Strength, Rigidity and Wear Resistance
• Powerful Compound Linkage with Positive Ram Stop
• Seven Station Turret Head
• Interchangeable Turret Heads
• Spent Primer Collection System
• Accepts all Standard 7/8"-14 Dies and Universal Shell Holders
"The cartridges coming off the Redding [T-7] were so concentric I had to keep checking the dial indicator to make sure it was working properly."

Rear Casting Support
The Rear Casting Support provides support for the turret directly opposed the ram. This prevents the turret from tilting, assuring a rigid turret and maintaining precise alignment.
Spent Primer Collection System
Spent primers are automatically collected in the large diameter hollow ram. They then drop into a handy flexible plastic tube that can hold hundreds of spent primers before emptying, or be easily routed to your trash container.
"Smart" Primer Arm
The "Smart" Primer Arm automatically swings into position during the ram stroke and flips out of the way when not in use. For maximum sensitivity at the lowest possible leverage, priming is done at the end of the ram stroke.
NOTE: The Dies, Shellholder and other accessories shown in the photos above are optional accessories and not included with the T-7 Press.
Spare T-7 Turret Head
With additional turret heads, you can switch between calibers without needing to change dies ... greatly speeding up the die change process. The spare toolhead includes the bushing.
