Hearing ArmorHearing Armor is a great name for this product.
I am a big fan of the electronic ear muffs for the benefit they provide of hearing protection and the ability to turn up the audio volume to hear students with soft voices. I always wear ear plugs at the range as a baseline of protection. I suffer from hearing loss because of the years of being in situations where i didn't have hearing protection. Now I carry earplugs in my pocket for the convenience of immediate availability. When I am at the range I put the earplugs in so I am not caught by surprise. When I am shooting or working with a shooter I put ear muffs over my earplugs for the added protection. In the past I carried the ubiquitous foam plug that you had to squish and twist to reduce its size and then try to get it in your ear before it expanded. Not anymore with Hearing Armor.
The quality of the silicone is such that the plug seats easily in the ear canal and seals. They are comfortable to wear all day even under muffs. They are removed from the ear canal easily and they are easy to clean. While in my pocket, they have their own case which protects them from the other junk in my pocket. I have been using the same pair for months and they are still going. This is good gear.
