Need super small powder drops? These powder drop slides are customized, exclusively for UniqueTek, to allow even smaller powder drops than the standard Arredondo Powder Drop Slide. They will meter down to 0.7 grains (with Win 231) and they meter very small powder drops more accurately than the Dillon extra-small powder bar. If you are loading small centerfire cartridges like the .32 S&W Long for ISSF Center Fire Pistol and other target competition, this is THE powder bar to use!

As with our Micrometer Powder Bar Kit™, we provide a FREE Excel spread sheet you can use to generate "calibration curves" for each of your gunpowders. The "calibration curve," enables you to predict the micrometer setting to yield any desired charge weight for that gunpowder.* * You still must weigh and confirm all powder weight setting changes even when using a calibration curve that you have generated yourself. |

"Just wanted to give you a *****5 STAR***** report. Had ordered the slide a month or so ago, and just installed it to make new 32 Auto's we are doing in solid copper projectiles. Anyway, we are making 32 Auto's in Solid Copper HP's and they are beautiful. They take 2.2 gr of W 231 and I was afraid of keeping tolerance on that small a load of gunpowder … "no problemo" Your slide dials in beautifully, and then repeats and repeats right on the money. Never got anything close to that with the Dillon Slides. It's just beautiful! I have 12 powder measures for various powders and calibers, and it always seems to take a half hour just to get the powder dialed in when I do a change-over. I expect those days are going to be over. Most of my loads are 12 gror less, so I expect to order several after Christmas. Anyway, thanks so much. After about 7 years of struggling with other slides, I am so pleased to find a slide that is both singularly accurate, and repeats that accuracy over and over. ORDERING NOTES: Due to the different orientations of the powder measure on the various Dillon presses, the powder drop slide is available with the micrometer installed in one of two orientations.
• Left side of powder bar — For RL 550 or Super 1050
• Right side of powder bar — For XL 650, XL 750 or Square Deal B
Although the micrometer index marks will read upside down on the XL 650, XL 750 or Square Deal B, this orientation provides better visibility of the micrometer and easier powder weight adjustment. Please select the correct index mark orientation from the pop-up menu. If you do not make a selection, you will be sent the version for the RL 550/Super 1050 presses.

After using it I was amazed at how accurate it is! Accurate in two ways: how consistent each powder drop is, and how reliable dialing in the desired grains on the micrometer and getting it right on the first go. I use the calibation spreadsheet that Lee includes with the micrometer and I added a column: stdev of powder drops and for W231 it has a little less variance than the Dillon small bar.
I now use this powder bar for all of my loads that need less than 8 grains of powder.
I highly recommend this!
