This adapter gives your 12 Gauge single or double-barrel break action shotgun the ability to fire 22LR ammo.

Precision machined from high quality stainless steel to the SAAMI cartridge specifications for 12 Gauge 2-3/4″ shotshells. It will easily fit into your break action shotgun chamber and accept any 22 Rimfire ammunition.*

After firing, simply remove the adapter and tip upside down to remove the spent 22 shell, or use your finger nail to grab and remove the shell while the adapter stays in your gun.

Firing Pin Recess
The wide groove cut in the face of the adapter not only allows you to easily remove a spent shell but also provides a recessed clearance area for your firing pin. Adapters that don't have this recessed area (or recessed area in the wrong spot) do not provide the proper clearance for your firing pin and may damage your shotgun. Adapter orientation is not important and the adapter will work in any position.

Accuracy
In tests it yielded 5″ to 3″ groups at 75 feet … depending on how tight the shotgun chamber is. With a tight chamber, it will group toward the tighter end of that range.

Q&A
Q: Is okay to use these with shotguns that have chokes and if so are there any chokes you should not use with these?
A: The 12GA to .22LR adapter is OK to use with any choke. Even though the .22LR cartridge is off center of the bore, the .22 caliber bullet is so small compared to a 12GA bore, it will never contact the bore or choke … even with an Extra-Full/Super-Full choke. That said, I do make it a practice to go ahead and change to a Cylinder choke when using any caliber adapter.

Great for SASS Shotgun Training!
Less expensive than shooting shotgun shells, more realistic than using snap caps.

The Result Was Astonishing!We used our adapters yesterday and shoot with all types of shotguns available (10 different types) on distances of 7, 15 and 20 meters. The result was astonishing. Despite there are no threaded barrel, the .22LR were quite precise and we could use it very well for these distances. Most of the holes in the target were round and some not (bullet came square to the target). We appreciate the reduction to .22 LR especially for new shooters, Ladies who also would try once shooting with a shotgun without a big kick or simply for shooters who like to train the handling with a 'bang' and save money lastly. With these adapters we can also use our shotguns in a shooting range, where normally no shotguns are allowed (e.g. in a combat hall). All buyers are excited and appreciated this product very much. So well done!

They Work Quite Well.I recently purchased your adapters for 20 gauge shotgun to 22lr. They work quite well. As far as I can tell, they place shots very closer to point of aim at 7 yards. I am shooting a Stoeger sxs coach gun. Very inexpensive way to practice shooting.
