Unlike other gas block mounted Mini-14® sight mounts, it is installed with the rail behind the gas block for better balance. The rail also has a channel down the center that allows use of the original iron sights even with the scope mounted.
! Must be used with Long Eye Relief scopes (i.e. Pistol Scopes).

Easy Installation
It simply replaces the top section of the gas block and is held on with the original 4 cap screws. Install the scope base with the rail section facing to the rear. No drilling or permanent alterations to your Mini-14® rifle are required.
Fits:
✓ ALL Ruger® Mini-14® Rifles (Including Series 180, Series 181 and Newer).
✗ Will not work with heavy barrels, either Ruger® or aftermarket.
