Cowboy Action Shooting™ calls for accuracy, quick reaction, and smooth-working firearms. QuikLoader™ puts a 3° SASS‑legal taper in the leading 1/2″ of your 12-gauge shotshells to facilitate the feeding of shotshells into your shotgun and cut seconds off your score. No more fumbling!

Shells that have been tapered by QuikLoader™ can enter the chamber more easily and at a steeper angle in all directions to help you virtually drop the shells into the chambers.

QuikLoader™ not only improves feeding in break‑action Side‑by‑Side and Over/Under shotguns, it also improves feeding on Winchester Model '97 pump‑action and Model '87 lever‑action shotguns, too!

Fits MEC Jr, MEC Sizemaster and Other Presses
QuikLoader™ installs on your press and temporarily replaces the first crimping die.
1) First, load and crimp all rounds you need in a loading session.
2) Then install QuikLoader™ and quickly and easily taper the loaded rounds.**
At a comfortable pace you can taper 1,600‑1,800 shells per hour.

** Since the QuikLoader™ would require an extra station on the press, tapering must be performed as a separate operation. But switching between loading and tapering is a snap and does not upset any of the press's settings.

My Results Were Great!I just received my QuikLoader tool today and installed it on a Hornady 366 progressive shot shell press. I set it up in station #1 (the station just before the primer drop). I had to purchase a 2-1/2" bolt and installed as follows: a washer on top of the press that is approximately 1/10" thick, then below the top of the press above the die your black spacer 1/2" thick + a 3/8" spacer followed by a 1/16" washer (this gave me a total of 15/16" of spacer). With the QuikLoader at its full-down position, the shell protrude was about .875”. As the hole in station #1 is slightly larger than 1/4", I wrapped the shank of the 2-1/2” bolt with metalized tape until it was a close fit. This not only ensured that the bolt was centered in the hole, it also prevented any possible damage to the threads in the press.

My results were great. In fact. I had previously set aside almost two boxes of shell the did not pass the test with my “Slix Shotshell Checker Sizer”. I then ran resized these shell with the QuikLoader die and now they all passed muster in the shell checker.

I only have a suggestion. Make the die long enough the it will bottom out on shell plate when loading 2 ¾” shot shells. This would help take the guess work out of how may washers/spacers would be required for proper spacing -&- it would help is sizing the plastic all the way down. Make one like that, and I’ll review it for you.

Thanks.
